11/24/2021 2:23:00 AM - Greetings Roger. For some time now I have been a "Fan"of your tasting notes. I see that you are in Naples (and a member of the WineAccess team). Now that America is once again allowing Europeans and Brits into the USA (vaccinated ones, anyway!), the wife and I are headed to Naples on December 1st for about 3 months to get away from our winter's chill. While there it would be a pleasure to share an occasional bottle of something decent with like minded oenophiles. To that end I have sent you a Friend request (to you and one or two others in Naples). Would you be open to that? Cheers.

4/11/2021 11:37:00 AM - Ok, Roger, I'm game. I just signed up on their site, even though my cellar is well beyond capacity. Let me know when it comes in and we can meet up. I'm here in Naples year round.....I just hope they're better than those "Chad" wines! If not, my kids will be gifted a few! Lol....

4/11/2021 8:27:00 AM - Mark: I have about 10 plus cases of De Negoce. These are great cellar defnders at the price. These wines are from Cameron Hughes. Lot 192 :Lot 192 comes to us from a relatively new, Napa Valley-based, boutique producer (and sommelier) sourcing fruit from a gently-sloping, hillside vineyard just across the street from the well-regarded Knights Bridge Winery in Knights Valley (Knights Valley is just north of the Napa County line in Sonoma County but its volcanic soil structures are very similar to Napa Valley). The vineyard was recently converted over to organic production by the legendary Barbour Vineyard Management. In his 30+ years as a vineyard manager and viticulturalist, Jim Barbour has planted and managed some of Napa Valley’s most coveted vineyards, including Hundred Acre, Grace Family, Blankiet, Hourglass, Tom Seaver’s GTS, Pride, D.R. Stephens, Revana, Fleming, Au Sommet, Amuse Bouche, Keever, Von Strasser, etc. From the finest French oak to the best vineyard management team, no expense was spared in the production of this wine. Since the producer has yet to launch their inaugural 2018 bottling I can't give you a price comparison but I figure this wine would, at a minimum, sell for about $65-$75 and largely because its Knights Valley, not Napa Valley where it would be about $85/bottle. This is an incredible offering at $13/bottle. its a 2019: ships late MAY or early June

4/11/2021 8:21:00 AM - Hey Roger......I am unfamiliar with this label. Looked up their website and see it's a novel idea that has turned out a ton of different '18s from everywhere. Have you had any of these other wines? If you are familiar with "Chad" wines from Wineaccess, this sounds like another one of those 'deals', no?

2/23/2021 7:13:00 PM - Yes! Glad you found some. I have bought from B-21 for years. Great selection and pretty competitive pricing. The $12 shipping is a great thing and it's down to us sometimes the very next day. Another added plus, if you spend $500 (used to be $300 prior to last year) your entire order can be delivered in their 55 deg cold van for free. Only problem is they only deliver to Naples on Tuesdays and sometimes you have to wait 3-4 Tuesdays to get your wine as they have to schedule it out on the route or sometimes their van is full. Cheers! Mark

2/25/2016 10:20:00 AM - Wine-Enthusiast: I'm one of the engineers at WineAccess, and I saw your comment regarding the 2013 Nichols. If you send an email to help@wineaccess.com and let them know your experience (and also mention that Tom sent you to them), I am confident that we can make this right for you. Cheers, Tom
