First time drinking an aged Baumard Quarts de Chaume and was impressed! Nice aged sweet white nose with some botrytis but not overpowering. Nose of pineapple and wax. In the mouth good acidity but well balanced.

Noticed a lot of quince, citrus, mineral, good medium depth. Maybe a little too sweet without the balance of acidity. Had a most wonderful night at the CSO!. Excellent performance and company.

Went well with Texas foie gras (jalapeno hot dogs baked in cream cheese). Un grand merci, pardner.

Blind Frenchie's at Momo's: Sweet White - Canned tropical fruit. Sweet, thick, a bit too sweet really. Okay. I don't really get these wines.
