Lunch at Cucinetta 5 May 2023: Pale gold colour, with the saline and sea spray notes subdued beneath a layer of honeycomb oak in the RP&F style. An absolute contrast in style to the Les Clos paired with it and needs food 18.

Rich, but not advanced as a bottle opened earlier this year was showing, so happy. Pale gold, lacks Chablis typicity, but it always was more CdeB like with stone fruits, nuts and cinnamon spice from the oak. This bottle less honeycomb spice than others and a refreshing lick of salinity at the finish to remind you of its origins. Very nice, but perhaps in a mid life place, without the exuberance of its youth and on way to an unknown future. Leave for 2025 to try again 18.5

brief note. rich gold colored. tons of funky seashell and spiced apple on the nose. medium plus body with lifting acidity. rich fruit with baked apple and preserved lemon flavors. nutmeg and some white pepper notes. stellar bottle, absolutely singing. ate mac and cheese with this and the pairing was perfect.

2014 Chablis Lunch (Grappa Leichhardt): Not pale at all, not even a little bit. This wine is often more "Corton C." like, but today it’s more like a “Batard M.” version of Chablis. Buttercup yellow, rich honeycomb nose with an underlay of sea spray. Rich palate with salty, lemon, mandarin, nutty flavour overlays but not overblown as underneath it all there is good structure and acidity. Tighter on day 2. But so tasty now, why keep it?

soft translucent golden hue with a bit of sediment. tastes much more dense than appearance would indicate. decanted 30 minutes and served after thirty at room temp. nose with nutmeg, oyster shell, mango flesh, roast pear, and rich wood. zippy acidity and minerality overly a fuller bodied wine. flavors of candied lemon, mango, macadamia, and some acetone with a lengthy finish. acid to go for years.
4 day update- evolving beautifully. still rock solid and gaining focus.

Great Negociant producer with this Premier Cru Fourchame vineyard. Intense aromatics. Huge body and texture. Depth for days. Better the next day. Will update tasting notes on next bottle.

Pungent nose of lemon, seashore, fennel and spice. Glorious palate! Lemon, bread, salt water, honey, white flowers and Alka-Seltzer. Excruciating acidity, high voltage tension and energy with a long finish. Glorious wine, Corton C in style and Grand Crus in quality.

不新鲜的气味,三天不散,body比robin稍差,都是sommselect来的,都不太好。
