Beautiful nose of spice and dark fruit. A touch oak heavy but that dissipates. Quite long on fruit/spices theme, with a very nice acidic finish that balances everything. At its peak but might last forever 3-4 years.

I continue to be impressed by the quality of wines from the Okanagan Valley, especially Syrahs. This still young wine had a rambunctious, dark berry nose with Asian spices. As it breathed, lovely aromas of blackberry and blueberry arose. The wine has soft tannins and great balance although not much length or depth on the palate. Lovely stuff!

Plum and cherry on the nose with tobacco. On the palate, lots of white pepper, lots of plum, tobacco, and cherry. Medium body at best, low tannis, low acidity. Medium finish. Not really well integrated. I think this has peaked, so drink up now or within a year.

Excellent syrah; and apparently my only bottle. The nose is expressive and intense, with leather and spices. The tannins are very round and soft. The alcohol level (15.1%) is well integrated and it's fairly easy to drink - lots of freshness. Enjoy now or over the next 3-5 years.

Starts with primary cherry fruit with floral and barnyard notes, then opens up to reveal more pepper and garrigue. Rich and glycerined with a broad, warm texture and a long, savoury, spiced finish. 4/5

Pleasantly surprised by this wine, treat it with due care by decanting it and giving it some time to open up. I'd agree with Francois with the leather or similar on the nose. Really liked the spice/pepper on the palate. As an Aussie who loves his Shiraz I found this wine had enough body to keep me happy. Medium palate and velvety tannins. I'd buy this again, for me this wine means Christmas.

Beautiful Syrah. Great aromas with new leather, berries and spices on the nose and palate. Excellent balance and worth cellaring for a few more years. Could it be better than the fabulous 2013?

Nice Syrah. 15% ABV. Dark burgundy colour. Tannins are present, provide good structure but don't overwhelm. Lots of Cherry, fig, slight pepper taste.

Meaty plum tar cherry soy sauce. Chunky racy depth and elegance.
