  • This wine possesses a surprising elegance given that many 13 vintage wines have intense tannin structure. It has a great balance of tension and beauty with red fruits dominating. Silly and round with a lithe quality. More beauty than beast and very tasty. Refreshing to find a 13.9% abv in a drought vintage. Really a lovely expression. Vibrant, lively and floral.

  • Deep ruby red colour. Pronounced nose with blackcurrant, dark plums, cedar, tobacco and dried herbs. Pronounced taste of blackcurrant, blackberry, oak, tobacco, earthy, black pepper, leather and vanilla. Long and dry finish. High tannins. Medium acidity. Full body. A good Californian Cabernet Sauvignon. Goes well with grilled beef or lamb.
