  This wine possesses a surprising elegance given that many 13 vintage wines have intense tannin structure. It has a great balance of tension and beauty with red fruits dominating. Silly and round with a lithe quality. More beauty than beast and very tasty. Refreshing to find a 13.9% abv in a drought vintage. Really a lovely expression. Vibrant, lively and floral.

Pronounced taste of blackcurrant, blackberry, oak, tobacco, earthy, black pepper, leather and vanilla. Long and dry finish. High tannins. Medium acidity. Full body. A good Californian Cabernet Sauvignon. Goes well with grilled beef or lamb.
