As opposed recently to the 2005 Terraces, which didn't wow me, this Clone 115 is pretty good. Bit of a piney nose, stems, hint of heat. Palate of blueberry, strawberry, forest floor. The acidity, pine needle and fruit makes for a nice finish.

Very pleasant bottle. Had with pork chops and it complemented them perfectly. Pleasant tastes of cherries, strawberries and a hint of blueberries. Nicely balance fruit and a smooth finish.

Melville Wine Dinner (Antonello Ristorante - Costa Mesa, CA): I find it very interesting that wild yeasts can impart a comparable level of complexity as a blend of 14 different clones, which what is found in their High Density pinots. Notes of black cherry, boysenberry, spice cake, and toffee are supported by zesty acidity.

This wine has evolved nicely. Big and bold. Stern rich dark fuits and floral notes on the nose. Soft tannins on the palate along with good pinot fruit. Charcoal and ripe red fruit on a rather abrupt finish. This needs time.

Goodbye dear friend, I knew you when... you were only 36 bucks! Wish this wasn't my last one. Great QPR, went perfectly with wild mushroom risotto, decanted for 45 minutes then consumed over the course of 2 hours, just kept opening up and blossoming. Drink now - 2009.

I loved this and can't wait to open another one. Great value, drinking well now, but also has staying power. Enjoyed with Honeybaked ham for Christmas and it was a great match. Would definitely buy more.

Great Thanksgiving wine with turkey and dressing. Tastes of cherry and strawberries, opened up nicely.

This wine was a disappointment. Kind of weedy tasting and lacked character and depth.
