Cork came out in one piece, ftw. Herbal and noseful of blueberries. Opened up to still-lively fruit, not a fruit bomb by any means. Beautiful color, no bricking.

Color is a medium dark magenta. Blueberry, cedar and spice nose. Light to medium bodied, blackberries, fig and coarse ground pepper spiciness, moderate and clear tannin, with a medium finish. Driniking very well now

Medium dark magenta. Blueberry, cedar and spice nose. Light to medium bodied, blackberries, coarse ground pepper, dirty cherries, woody tannins, smoke and heat, and a medium finish. The fruit is leaving the building.

I opened another precious bottle of Wellington, and it was very pleasant. It's sad that tjere will be no more, but such is the way of all things. Still good fragrance, and drinking nicely.

Medium dark crimson. Blueberry, oak, and spice nose. Medium bodied, piercing black cherries, pepper, sweet tannins, mint, a bit of heat, and a medium-plus finish. Relatively simple but very good.

Very floral and very fruity. Quite nice, actually. Some earthy qualities do come out here and there, but this is still a fairly primary wine. I don't think it needs to be a short term drinker, but probably a 4-6 year horizon.
With a further half hour of air, it's becoming bigger and meatier. More obviously Syrah while retaining the floral notes.

Aromatically open, a mix of floral pastilles, vanilla, blackberry, and tobacco with a hint of beef jerky. Quite a lot going on, actually. On the palate it's a bit one-dimensional and lightly structured without much tannin. Fruit-forward with a bit of oak on the finish. An easy-drinking Syrah for near term consumption.

Coravin a glass
Nice herbal notes under some blackberry and currants, good long finish with a bit of bitterness, mellowed with a hint of oak, cedar, and tobacco.
Probably will mellow out a bit more over the next few years, but drinking very nicely now.

Great over two days. Dark, chewy, peppery, fruity, and gaining in complexity compared to earlier bottles.
