A very pleasant surprise. Tasted blind, many thought this was an older Barolo, or some Nebbiolo based wine from the past. Lighter in color - almost like an old Barolo, very floral and spicy with quite a bit of acid on the finish. Still a bit astringent, there is a seam of nice oak and some herbs. After four hours in the glass the fruit faded somewhat - so don't dawdle once this is open. Recommend to drink up in the next year or so to retain is freshness.

my first time with this #greekwine and it had a wonderful perfumed nose of roses and the palate had sour red fruits, with racy acidity and firm tannins, all well balanced and a little like a nebbiolo and at only £19 @robertsspeight well worth to #giveanewwineago 88 points

Restrained dark cranberry nose with a nice vegetal note. Medium-bodied palette of secondary cherry fruit, with a bright, balanced acidity, grippy tannins and a long, smooth finish. This is a delicious old world red that blends the bright acidity of a Rhône with the earthy fruit of a Burgundy. Shines with food, with an outstanding QPR. Benefits from several hours of air.

Lovely. Funky nose with sweaty leather and flesh. Great Xino fruit with cherries and spice and more leather. Light body. Great acidic spine. Grooves really hard on the Xino vibe. Perfect maturity.

Medium garnet. After 7 h slow ox it brings typical vegetal aromas of black olives, sundried tomatoes with some sour cherries and cola. Light body with high acidity and gripping tannins. I think it will be perfect in 7 years from now. 90-91 for now with a potential for better performance.

Interesting Xinomavro from Naoussea. Fairly light red in the glass with a nose of sour cherry. Bright red fruit on the tongue with fresh red cherry, a touch of sour apple, cranberry, grippy tannins, medium plus acidity and a medium length finish. Probably opened this up a bit too early.

Pale, clear ruby in color, aroma reminded me of a Pinot. Slightly sour note on first sip, but improved a bit with air. Got a touch of an almost Cola-like flavor in there. Decent, but not so memorable that I'd go out of my way for it again.

Medium ruby crystal clear. Intense xin aromatics, typical and rustic. Medium weight, high acidity whute pepper, sweet spice, grippy and long with some earthy nuances mainly towards the end. 90+
