Deep ruby red colour. Medium nose with dark plum, blackberry, vanilla, smoke, leather and black pepper. Medium (+) taste of dark plum, blackberry, vanilla, leather, oak, dark chocolate, licorice and cinnamon. Medium long and semi-dry finish. Medium acidity. Medium (-) tannins. Medium (+) body. A very good Rhône blend that is peaking. Drink now. Goes well with beef or game.

Australia - This medium bodied, deep red blend is bold with strong fruit flavors and hints of sweet blackberry. Well-balanced with medium tannins, this wine would pair well with poultry or pasta dishes.

$9...in that respect this was suprisingly drinkable with BBQ food (smoked pork, breadcrumb mac n' cheese, slaw, cauliflower). Small glass was dark, viscous and sweet yet not overpoweringly so with the food together. With the right food sure it was tolerable and decent. On its own cannot see it being enjoyable unless your style. Drink now is recommended.

Love the AR label, but the wine is not worth trying. Way too sweet and boring. Missing complexity and body. Not enjoyable. Better than the “Dark Red” brother from the same label.

Dark, full nose, with cassis, blackberry, and hints of cocoa. On the palate is cassis, boysenberry, red cherry, earthiness. Full mouthfeel, smooth and silky tannins, lovely delicious balance of sweetness and acid. Long, lingering finish. We can't tell you how much we love this wine!

P: Med body; RNDISH entry with ALMOST swtish frt (almost certainly threshold R.S.) nicely counterbalanced by a slightly puckerish astringency which morphs into a LONG (albeit very, VERY slightly faint) tangy/SWT finish with a DISTINCT swtness to the very, VERY fine tannins. While not for me personally, this effort is fair enough given the intended style & this vendor's $8.99 price pt, which since it's in but the mid 3rd quartile of wine-searcher's maxed out free listing, can be EASILY beaten by $1, or even $2 @ a couple of outlets. For now & POSS into '21, + MIGHT improve a TAD through Fall '18. 13.5% ABV; My VG-.

First impression is the taste is pleasant and fruity. However, the next thing you realize is this tastes like a watered down version of what could have been a good wine. lastly, you notice this is very much lacking in structure. Probably best as a wine to have before or after a meal because the taste is pleasant but it lacks the concentration and structure to stand up to food.

A nose of some jammy fruit and spice, dark purple in color. A medium to full bodied red blend, with blueberry, plum, brown sugar and spice on finish, a pizza wine. www.winelx.com

Deep red/purple color wine with full body. Note of residual sugar with strong grenache notes coming through the nose. Plenty of character but unfortunately a bit too sweet for my taste.

P: Med body; Swtish frt (threshold R.S. for certain), acidity TRYING to balance as it works its way into the LONG, slightly swt finish with the barest HINT of acidity. Many would love this, I suspect, & I really can't criticize it given the winery's apparent objective to make a swt red table wine. 13.5% ABV; [As of late Mar '20, wine-searcher still shows 6 sources @ $9 & $10].
Addendum: Also tasted on 4/1/17 & 4/21/18.
