Double decanted an hour before dinner. Lush fruit and spice on the nose. Palate is nicely weighted with full red fruit. Drinking nicely, but seems like a bit of an underachiever for the vintage and cuvée. Hopefully will gain more depth with additional cellar time.

Paulee wedding lunch at Nicolas. Friendly pour from the next table. Was a pop and pour at the lunch, so perhaps lacked the benefit of air like the previous bottle I drank before. A tad less showy.

Dark, brooding cherry on nose and in mouth. Savory, earthy notes. Great depth , length and finish. Young wine that will likely develop complexity over time.

Popped, and had it breathed in bottle for at least an hour before serving. A rustic, animal-type nose emerged from the glass, amidst scents of dark-red cherries & sandalwood/cedar. Blinded, it didn't seem apparent that this hailed from Burgundy. Onto the palate, this showed rather magnificently qualitatively, definitely one of power in a velvet glove, that transcends intensity in a rather weightless manner. Light, agile, satiny yet packed full of coiled intensity. More dark-red cherries & meat flavours abound, held together in almost aristocratic structure. This actually tightened up with more air and got a bit more "stern/over-serious", that was almost comparable when tasted beside a '04 LMHB 😂. In any case, will be interesting to see how this will turn out with more years of cellar-age...

GC Grand Cru lunch. Drank in Zalto Burg glass. Tasted semi-blind. Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Legs. Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of animal meat, red cherries, dark red cherries, nice oak spice. Developing. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium alcohol (13.5%), fine high tannins, full body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of dark meat, dark red cherries, black cherries, dark milk chocolate, sweet oak spices. Very long persistent finish. Excellent quality. Grand Cru gravitas. Complex and lots of substance. Still young and will need time to develop more although it is already so good. Imagine my score will be even better if I taste this a few years down the road.
The nose puts me back to my early encounters with young Chambertins from Rousseau in the nineties. There is a citrus and vetiver element (or is it sandalwood?) I don't get from other appellations. Of course there is some wood. Opened and poured the palate starts a bit lean and becomes fuller with aeration, nose gets a melon element. Tannins and acid are in balance and abundant giving high hopes for the future.. over 4hrs:the curve only points up. pmet9/10

Cherries, dark chocolate, dark berries with medium acidity. A delight for the senses almost falling on decadent. This is a brooding wine and I think at this age we can only seen a snippet of what is to come. I can't wait to read the next chapter.

Great intensity of flavors while constantly changing on the palate. Chocolate is prominent here and so are black fruits. Velvety tannins coat the mouth with a very smooth finish. Not as expressive on the nose but I believe time will tell. Give this an hour of air. Delicious!

was the pick of the entire bunch of a broad 2015 Faiveley horizontal (no musigny, but everything else including Rodin) very much a wow wine, superb black fruits, fresh, complex and incredible length. Now I just need to find some!!! :)

goodness, an incredible wine. Mint-chocolate cherries with a beautiful, lifted backbone, fanning out into the long finish. Very much at the top of the tree, amazing just how well this is drinking right now.

A wonderfull wine - medium Dark color and a nose with mineral and spice turning up the glass. Agree with other CT - this is one to buy. A baby with potentiale. The best wine that Burgundy evening in Februar - but wait please

Visit to Faiveley - Vintage 2015 (Nuits St.Georges): Wow, another really nice wine. Here the soft, elegant side of the Latricieres vineyard comes through. Lovely aromas more in the red fruit spectrum than the darker Corton, even some mint and citrus tones. Very good stuff.

Very full bodied, rich, smooth, creamy with a wonder Pinot-fruit; it has spice and character also, and is of course much too young. Great length. From IB. 94+++ #X-Pensive Winos go Cab

Find this a bit more difficult to assess at this juncture. There is a nice ripeness but tannins are quite tight and not as round as in some of the other 2015 of Faiveley.
