Dark blood red color. Blackberry fruit, cassis, strawberry, cherry. Nice full body. Surprisingly tannins are present. The wine has great structure. Very silk. Fruit burst followed by earthy tannins. Long, dry finish. This really shocked me as I thought it was beyond the end of its drinking window, but it could easily age 5 - 10 more years. However, if you are lucky enough to have a bottle of this in your cellar, I would not risk it and enjoy it now.

Cork broke as I screwed in the extractor must remember to use Ah So on wine (corks) more than 10 years old. Careful and time consuming straining resulted in fully oxidized wine

Fabulous bouquet of dark berries, with a velvety texture and long smooth finish. If you've been saving this wine for a special occasion now is the time to enjoy it.

Incredibly smooth and full of bold flavors. Fabulous with bacon covered dates appetizer, scalloped potatoes and Filet of Beef au poivre for Christmas Eve.

Paired with beef shoulder, caramelized brussel sprouts and rice, Tresor was up to the challenge. Wine is bold and ready to drink now. Finishing last glass with Tim Tams. What a treat!

Extremely tannic in nature. Had this without food to balance it out so it was a bit too much. This one seems to want to cellar for a while more. I had the other half of the bottle today with some aged Gouda, it went well together.

Tried at card game with some serious Cabernets and it stole the show. Tried in NYC Italian restaurant for a rediculous price and it was very good. Had a third bottle with friends at home and it was flat. I'm sorry to say that I'm over this wine because the 04 Siena is just as good.

Really nice Valentine's treat with jumbo aged prime porterhouse. Jammy, strong tannins when you swish it around. Missus thought it was good too.

Gorgeous aromas of red and dark fruit, smooth with nice body, and a tannic finish as others have noted-needs food. Had with a filet, was perfect.
