A typical, somewhat full bodied Crozes. Savory bacon fat and garlic on the nose, joined in the palate by ripe (for northern Rhône) dark berry. A touch funky though no overt brett. M acid, soft tannins, M+ to full body.
Not much depth or complexity or length hbut worth the price, and probably at its peak right now—drink within the next couple years. Perfect pairing for garlic and green olive pizza which is my standard use for entry level northern Rhône. 6.4/10

Opaque to the edge with an inch pour, with aromas of black cherry, blueberry, and hint of grilled lamb. Enters the mouth with edgy acidity and tannin that is firm, drying, and just beginning to have a rounded edge. Not particularly lush or rich, but that may improve with more age.

End of September Samples Tasting: Dark plummy color. Smoky and full of charred herbs and earth, along with sweet plums and black cherries. Medium-bodied with some medium/soft tannins. Juicy black cherries and plums mixed with peppercorns, charcoal smoke, some eucalyptus. Tasty, lighter style for near-term consumption.

Just too much brett to be enjoyable.

Russk. My wine at Expats at Marido's. Might need more time.
Nose: young Rhone. Mouth: savory bramble. 89+
