Medium deposit. Strawberry red. Wonderful Burgundian nose. Spicy strawberry and raspberry aromas. Nice bottle development. Ditto palate. A wonderful Bourgogne. The best of my 3 bottles. Drinking beautifully. Beginning to fade a little after 30 minutes. Drink up, and may your bottle be such pretty Burgundy as this.

I need more. I can’t stop smelling this glass filled with potpourri, dry dirt, ripe raspberries, red currant. Still a good tannic structure with lush acidity. My mouth just salivates right down the sides of the tongue. Then the dirt flavors kick in, minerals, red currant hits first, raspberries, dried roses, and a touch of vanilla on the finish with a hint of blood orange. This is beautiful.

Gentle, red berry and violet nose. Round red/black cherry fruit, pleasant sweetness. Light/med. weight, Good supportive acid, a trace short. Shows its Morey origins in its flavour profile. Drinking nicely, probably as well as it will. Should hold for 2-3 years.

Vivid colour; cool red fruits, stylish; bright berried fruit, velvety, initially superficial this has depth & stood up well to boeuf bourguignon. Finishes well. Will age but why wait further

Dark ruby red, brightly perfumed with red berries, fills the mouth with soft, juicy red fruit, mineral and plum, elegant texture, refreshing finish, bright and alive, plenty of lip smacking juice here, will serve with corned beef

Decanted. Soft, round sweet nose that opened over several hours. Chambolle fruits, IMO. Lovely sweet fruit that opened over a few hours. Med. length. No pretence to greatness, but a beautiful, sweet round Burgundy. Very enjoyable. Probably improve and hold for up to 5 years. I wish I had more than I do.

More Young Burgundy (K&L Wines, San Francisco): Ruby, looks glycerine. Spicy. Medium weight, glossy feel. Dark cherry that is ripe but not overly sweet. Little soil. Polished and modern. Wood tannins arrive late and dominate the finish. Not for me.
