This bottle was past it’s drinking window. Brown at the edges on the pour and in the glass, with musty notes on the palate. I have two more bottles and hope for some bottle variation in a positive direction.

Really nice. Color of medium red with slightly light edges. Scents of strawberry. Tastes of muddled red berries with some earthiness. This had more prominent back-end flavors than I’ve typically found from outpost.

Less impressive this time around: more monolithic, berry, sweet candy profile. Acid and juicy berry structure there but it seemed to lack the depth and layers of prior bottles.
Day 2 reminded me why this is so good. Retained every bit of the soft red berry juiciness but still showed bright energy and med plus length/finish. Enjoyable

Savory, large aromatics, cloudy in glass, medium viscosity but huge mouthfeel. Enveloping black cherry, ripened strawberry (nearly rotted) and plum. Spice driven finish and lingering for nearly 1 minute. Awesome wine which really could rival a Sine Qua Non Grenache. Outstanding value

A great gift from from friends we had over for a glass of wine. Really enjoy Outpost wines, and this variety and vintage just confirmed our view. We don’t drink much Grenache but this bottle may change our minds - smooth and plenty of fruit. It probably will gain depth with some age but I wouldn’t hesitate to drink it now. A nice change of pace and very enjoyable.

Dark rose, light plum color in glass. Clear through. Legs in glass describing high abv. Nose surprisingly quiet, some lavender - might be youth or still closed and developing? Delicious palate and full mouthfeel, soft tannins followed by acid in back of mouth. Sweet cherry, strawberry jam, spicy sponge cake, touch of earth. Good length, very good drinking now.

Lush red fruit- ripe plums and nectarines. Almost candied. Good acid and a medium long finish with fall herbs.
