Tasted it at The Magic of Chardonnay Masterclass with Wine Educator Lim Hwee Peng and Domaine Faiveley’s Mr Jérôme Flous during Covid lockdown. Slight creamy and buttery. Enjoyable.

Light gold. Fresh acidity, somewhat lean. Lacks generosity of fruit one might expect from a warm generous vintage. Would agree with BROLAWA’s notes below - doesn’t have the typical Mersault like fullness. Fine for a village but overall it’s quite average.

Average white. Muted candy notes on nose but watery in the mouth. Almost no finish. Acid is in check but the wine doesn’t have any Meursault-like fullness in mouth.

Excellent entry Meursault from a very good year. Precise, juicy, smokey nose, right balance of fruit and acidity. Great wine for the price. Will go for 3-5 years, I think...

Dinner at The Tides Restaurant (Holetown - Barbados). Very pure ripe juicy pineapple core. Little sign of oak bar a hint of vanilla. Drinking well now and, if without the complexity of many a higher level Meursault, very enjoyable. For drinking by the end of decade.

A bit less of everything this time. Maybe bottle variation, or maybe needs more air. Tonight with char filet from ducal fisheries.
After 30 min of air, perfect 92-93. so increasing my score.

Very good. Clean, but nice fruit and precision. Deft oak treatment.
