Ripe red and dark fruit, some earthy, briny and chalky notes, still fresh and lively, with a silky texture. Quite complex for a village wine. Wonderful now, but still early in the prime window.

Pop and pour and just singing out of the gate. On the nose: lovely gevrey funk, perfumed red fruit and loads of spice..so complex. On the palate: fantastic acidity, ethereal mouthfeel and weight, soft red fruit, very finely grained tannin on the lovely, slightly chalky (austere?) finish. Anyway, this was a benchmarking exercise...this has loads in the tank, and I will check back at some point...I only say that because I buried my other bottles just so they would be hard to find....

Has that welcome combination of dark berry fruit balanced by supporting acidity. Drying wood/tannin after the initial fruit. Light-medium body. A nice mid-week quaffer. Good potential for improvement with time in the bottle.

92+ Tasted against Denis Mortet mes cinq terroir. Med+ acidity, med tannin. Geoffroy is more developed with tertiary notes of forrest flor and more tannin. Long finish. I liked Geoffroy a little more at this development stage.

Pnp, did not expect this to be so good. Medium purple, nose has plenty of red fruits and hint of spice. More concentrated than a typical premier cru, fine balance of sweet fruits and acidity and spice. Not the typical dry amd tannic VV, this is smooth and integrated, deep and refined. A 4are gem village, keep to yourself!!

Light purple. Wow, this young wine was impressive. Nose of red and dark fruit, spices and smoke, sophisticated. Delicate palate very solid and ripe fruit core, mouh filling for a village but stays elegant. Puches way avobe its weight. Will improve aromatically but so delicious now. Another candidate for best village ever.

Belle maturité au nez, arômes séduisants de fruits des bois, légèrement animal et réduit, bouche aux tanins fondus qui le rends déjà délicieux
