Pale lemon color - crystalline Medium aromas of dense lemon zest and ripe yellow apple with touch of green herbs and strong notes of dry stones and chalk - no oak influence Medium plus palate of juicy yellow apple and citrus - quite full in the mouth Medium plus acidity and medium plus length Really a well balanced wine at this point but I can see this being even better in 2-3 yrs as the acidity and intensity of fruit are there

Pale gold color - brilliant and beautiful! Medium plus aromas of golden apples with strong impressions of underlying chalkiness Medium/full palate and quite round in the mouth, indicative of extended lees contact - echoes the aromas primarily of ripe and unripe apples - no obvious oak influence Medium plus acidity to my palate although quite in contrast to the Chenin Blancs tasted alongside in single blind tasting Great length - This is really a classic Chablis IMO but as others have stated, nothing really standing out here to rate this any higher

This wine is okay, but not compelling. However, the price is not bad. It has citrus fruit, nice minerality, acidity that is typical for Chablis and a medium finish. Just the same, the citrus flavor is off and not that interesting. It leaves me not wanting to buy more of this vintage.

P: Med, poss LM, body; RNDISH entry with NICE, almost swtish frt balanced by an acidity which seems to BUILD & dominate the LONG, tangy/swt (70/30) finish. NICELY done for now & into '20 easily. Seems relatively approachable for Chablis. 12.5% ABV; My VG/VG+. [This vendor's $24.99 is at the head of wine-searcher's limited class.]

P: LM body; "Frt" currently bound up in an acidity which, while dominating the rest, DOES allow honied flavors with minerality on the LONG finish. An interesting style that was too cold when I tried it -- & I forgot to go back after it had warmed. [This vendor's $23.95 beats its next closest wine-searcher competitor by $1.]

P: Med, poss MF, body; VERY rndish entry with decent frt met by STRONG acidity which VERY slowly transitions into & through the quite LONG, TANGY finish with very, VERY slight notes of honey. AMAZING potential, but likely NEEDS through '19, then drinking for the following 3 yrs min. Terrific QPR for such power! [This vendor's $23.95 is as good as any on wine-searcher!]

Monthly Kermit Lynch tasting at Wine Wizards (Stockton): I liked this wine even though I was disappointed in its lack of depth and low acidity. It was somewhat charming in a faint, subdued way but previous vintages were far better. I don't think aging will help this wine much.

P: MF body; RNDISH entry with almost swtish frt met by a very, VERY slight mid palate pucker, this quite resolving by the LONG, distinctly honied finish. With less "cut" & DEFINITELY more POWER than one would anticipate from this appellation, I'm guessing this is more of a Chard for lovers of village level, poss even lieu ditz, Cotes de Beaunes than it is for fans of "classic" Chablis, & with that proviso a POTENTIAL steal! Totally seamless form. Beautiful flavors as well. Hopefully will gain a little more complexity with time but this is drinking great right now.
