bright yellow color, elevated nose of orange blossoms, melon and soft white marble, on the palate an absolute joy, sweet pink melon, hint of fig, guava, a rich fruit with a buttery quality, fine long finish with a slight chalky firmness that adeptly and subtly complements the slight sweetness elsewhere, honeysuckle notes come on with time, this is really lovely wine and most unique. Worth seeking out.

This wine is coming into its own right now. The last bottle was not to my liking, maybe awkward bottle stage but not enough fruit and was out of balance with the acid. It is all coming together now. The fruit is taking its place centerstage, still has crisp palate cleaning quality but it all works together now. Have one more bottle and will wait a couple years for it Enjoy

This was the hit of the afternoon party! I appreciated its over beauty of structure, depth of flavors, and purity. Others had never had a Viognier and were bowled over by the wine. This bottle is terrific and seems to be drinking very nicely now and should for at least two more years.

Blind tastings in Murray: This wine really surprised me, DuMol makes great wines so I shouldn't have been, but this is the first new world Viognier I've liked in a long, long time.
I tasted blind and my notes are below: A light lemony straw color, looks young. Very clean with a silver edge to it. Clean moderate plus nose. Lemon tart, apricot, peach and a slight melon aroma. A good amount of floral too. There is also a very noticeable salty or saline nose to it, hard to describe, but showing a very nice mineral edge. On the palate this has medium to elevated acidity. It is dry with not quite a full body mouth feel. I was way off on alcohol, I was guessing 12.5-13% and it is over 14%...
Killer wine

Tasting pour at the winery. This is the first time I have tried their Viognier. Very pretty honeysuckle , the level of acidity made this bright and lively. Enjoyable.

Pop and pour. In the glass, pale clear yellow. On the nose, dried apricot and a bit of sea spray. On the palate, strikes a nice balance between minerality and fruit, with the fruit ultimately winning out on a medium-long finish. Quite nice with crab cakes.

Paired with a salad with onions, feta, peaches, and nectarines. Holy WOW! It really brought out the stone fruit notes in the wine. Beautiful pairing!

Very clean with very good varietal character. Tastes of white fruits with a bit of oak.
