I enjoyed this wine very much. Deep and somewhat complex with a little oak, earth and plum on the nose and palette. It had a medium finish. wish I had more.

Disappointed, Consumed over two days; wine just didn't seem to come together. Dark fruit flavors that just didn't impress. Limited complexity, brawny & somewhat harsh. Some bitter astringency with some heat at the end.

One of the best values out there for merlot at present. This well structured fine with ripe and expressive fruit punches way above its weight. It may well get better. Drink or hold.

Ripe ripe ripe. Dark berries, chocolate and some smoke on the nose. Huge on the palate with tons of extraction and way more alcohol than necessary. This punches you in the face.

Color: Ruby’s Garnet’s All kinds of pretty red gemstone colors describe this. Solid Edges!
Nose: Cherries, plum, and well-ripened pitted fruit. There is a certain herbaciousness that is off in the background, with a refined chocolate taste subtlety there on the finish.
Taste: Ripe red fruits. Cherries, blackberry, and raspberry jam. Balanced, even, and rather chewy! Ya know, I taste some slate at the end of this really LONG finish. This is still very young and the tannins are there to back up all that youth. I can definitely see this wine aging for 5 more years. This really doesn’t taste like a Merlot. Me Likeeee : )

N: Closed, but seems ripe with berries & poss undertones of pyrazines?
P: LM, poss Med, body; NICE frt met by firming astringency which DOES quite resolve by the LONG, balanced, bitterswt choc finish with non obtrusive very, VERY fine tannins. Approachable now, this DESERVES into mid '19, then drinking for at least 3 more. Beautifully done, & a relative QPR for this appellation! My VG+/EXC-. 92 pts WS. Concentrated, cherry, currant, and chocolate toast nose and flavours. Weighty, with assertive alcohol and firm tannin on the palate. Hot and chewy with chocolate and coconut on the finish. 3/5

No detailed notes, but this was good. Quite rich, maybe a bit of oak showing.

From a half-bottle. Extracted and hot, with thin cherry flavors clashing with a bitter astringency.

Structured with plenty of fruit and acidity, backed by Napa weight and heft.
