Ruby color with light red rim. Notes of blackberry, cigar box, cedar and eucalyptus leap from the glass and onto the palate. Medium-long finish. Full bodied. Tannins have integrated nicely. A great QPR from Boardeaux. It was fun to watch it unfold throughout dinner and the night. I didn’t defant, I like following from the time it has been opened unless I feel a defant is necessary. With this particular bottle I didn’t feel decanting was necessary. It was great from the start.

Nice color and pretty, red fruit nose. Just austere and tannic palate. Might need a couple of years, but there just isn’t a lot of fruit to get excited about. Just okay.

Nose: barely ripe blackberries; vanilla; faint chocolate milkshake. Palate: tart plummy fruit; woody tannins are a bit overly drying, yet relatively balanced; faint tang on the finish that's mildly off-putting. Overall a solid wine, but may be worth sitting on for a while longer.

Dark red. Bright, cedar, nutmeg raspberry, and pomegranate. More woody than fruity. Hint of medicinal (cherry cough drop). Probably could use another year + in the cellar.
Day 1: After dinner Day 2: Artichoke Day 3: Mexican lasagna Day 4: Turkey burgers

Too young, of course, but still showing itself as a greyhound of a wine: sleek, streamlined, elegant. It has a well-integrated acidity and strong dark cherry flavors. Despite some chewy tannins, it is still a pleasure to drink -- I would happily buy more to cellar for five years or so.
Well balanced, though I think the aicidy and tannins were tamed by charcuterie board I was eating, I got notes os cherries, blackberry and oddly enough raspberries as the fruit. The earthier notes were of gravel and slightly green oak. Some rose petal was present ,but not a huge factor in the flavor profile. Would I buy again yes, but I would probably sit on this guy for awhile

My bottle wasn't too aromatic. Faint aromas of cherries, gravel, raspberries, light veggies, blackcurrants and cassis and cedar hints. Its medium bodied elegant, fresh velvety lightly oaked linear red and blue fruits palate finishes medium, fresh, tapering and a bit dry and unknit. 13%. V.drinkable! Needs a 2-4 year laydown and will definitely improve! Has a lovely texture!

I was surprised by how "leafy" this was - not dissimilar to a Loire Cab Franc. That's not a criticism but it was much cooler than I expected.
Still, it's balanced, decent concentration, chalky tannins. First of 6 - bodes well for medium term. I expect score to go up a notch with another year or 18 months bottle age.

Concentrated, bold, a food wine. Red currant, raspberry, strawberry and sweet cherry transcend throughout. Austere on the edges. Definitely a wine to pair with beef. NI:4, FI:21, FC:8, B:3, L:3

Clos Floridène's 2016 is an opaque crimson, medium-bodied blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon and 27% Merlot. Flaunting an aromatic profile of cassis, black cherries, licorice, tobacco and bramble leaf, it follows with a freshly acidic palate that has flavors similar to the aromas. The wine's alcohol (listed as 13%) is nicely integrated but the tannins are still a bit gritty and the oak a bit disjointed. Solid in the middle and finishing with medium length, this is a well-priced Bordeaux that would benefit from a year or two of additional cellaring. A higher score may be merited in the future. Drink 2021-2028.

Plenty of ripe red and black fruits, plums, leather and tobacco.
Cabernet sauvignon dominant. Needs a bit of time to open.

Sour cherries are the only fruit i get out of it, otherwise it's earthy bordeaux. Tannins are nice and soft, and for the price i can't complain.

Nice fruit profile. No obvious oak. Smooth tannins. I liked it. This is in a good place to drink now.
