Trop vieux? Déçu!

Nose of citrus. Acidic, high minerality, but soft mouthfeel at the same time. Tasted light orange and lemon, but not as salty or bright as other muscadets I've had. Good with grilled fish and veggies.

Pale lemon N: closed nose, hard to detect much aroma, citrus. P: M+ acid, M- body, M alcohol, M- intensity, M finish. Ripe melon, apples, citrus, spices, wet stones and mineral, leesy character of brioche and toast, finish has a slight herbaceous/olive bitterness. Okay wine, some richness and texture.

Pale straw with a few gold highlights. Upon first opening a strong Pinesol scent that blew off - the nose is cool, sweet, clean & a little nuance showing off apples, lemon peel, rock salt, pine sap. Medium body with a slick lip, medium acitiy but carries throughout a nice finish - peach skin, yellow apple, green apple peel, lemon merruinge pie. Fresh, light olive oil tossed pasta with poached salmon, capers, summer squash, broccolini, goat cheese, garlic, onions & basil.

A very slight funk on the nose that dissipates very quickly. Easy drinking wine that isn't complex but just works really nicely. A touch of green that's not overpowering, and a hint of minerality/salinity too.

Domaine De L’ecu makes wines of quiet beauty, soul, and truth which need a present attentiveness to appreciate. In the right calm state of mind they communicate. The three Muscadets in this sub-soil line have each their own personality. Granite has a leesy richness over lemon and yellow orchard fruits.

Nice Muscadet over a couple of nights with most of it consumed with oysters on the half shell the second night. Taut and linear, but not hard; despite the name, I though it had some fleshy edges.

Apparence jaune poussin peu soutenu.

Pale straw in colour. Aromas showing crisp/sharp apples, pears and lemon peel. Some yeast and a stoney minerality. Nice overall wine …. good structure, light bodied, good acidity (but not Over the top). The wine oddly tastes thirst quenching and thus very gulp-able. But if you take your time there is pretty decent complexity there. Apples/pears/lemon peel. Nice saline element. Good streak of chalky minerality throughout and herbal nature. Round and smooth …. no hard edges.

Aromas of apple and lemon, chalky minerals, and lees. Strong minerality. A wine that quenches the thirst but offers lots of subtle complexity if you drink it slowly and think. Flavors of chalky minerals, lemon and yellow apple with nice acidity rounded out by the richness from lees. Direct and perfect.

I agree with the recent notes. Typical saline minerality over some pear and crisp green apple. Ready for shellfish. Fairly straight-forward - the profile is a bit narrow, nice finish, but could have used some more dimension to rise above the patio oysters role.

I served this in my wine course. Very distinctive pear in the nose, with the usual loads of saline minerality. Mouthfeel is light, and could use a bit more concentration as comes across as bit thin. Could also use a touch more acidity for my taste. This would also help to lengthen the somewhat short but okay finish. Nose is the best aspect of the wine.

Enjoyed the intense ''granite minerality'', light notes of green apple and some citrus. Short-medium finish. Good QP.
