2.5 hour decant. Cedar plank salmon for dinner. Blue-black fruits emerging. A tad dusty on the finish. Much better than my bottle 2 years ago. I can see where this will be in a few years and it will be good. Enjoy now with 3 - 4 hours of air of wait another 2 - 3 years for natural integration.

Light ruby center with a lighter rim. Strawberry and cherry jump out of the glass. Light to medium weight. Tart, fresh red fruit, a pinch of herbs, and a light dusting of soil. Just a subtle trace of wood. A joy to drink at this young age.

nose - dried cherries, exotic spice, and a hint of earth. inviting mouth - delicious red fruits, juicy acidity, fresh and invigorating, this was a rock star village lieu-dit and i have now officially plowed through a whole case. I couldnt help myself.

similar to the chambolle village but with extra extract (and I suspect oak), this is another big fruit fruit forward wine with loads of acidity. There is a sappiness here that I suspect is from the old vines. In my mind I can project this evolving into something special. I suspect.

Plum, soft ripe black cherry, and earth lead the front end of the attack, with some cedar and slightly funky soil notes pushing through as it rolls across the palate. Finishes round and slightly mushy. Lacks a bit of verve and grip on the back end. Flavors are decent, if but a little muddled and plummy overall. Much better with food, which helped hide some of the lack of focus the wine displayed as a stand-alone. Another year or two may help with seamlessness, but this won’t ever have the scaffolding to elevate it beyond a simple sipper. Still enjoyable nonetheless. 88-89 points.

Really pretty nose of florals, red berries, spice, perfumes and earthy minerals, lots of ripe berries on the attack, plenty of structure though it, not abrasive even at this point, medium plus acidity and length, delicious now with boat loads of upside

Florals, earth, perfume and nice red berets on the nose, similar attack, with medium plus acidity, that tightens slightly on the mid palate , a baby that needs serious time in the bottle to show its potential

2015 Hervé Sigaut Wines (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Bright ruby. Forward berry fruit. Medium weight, a touch of wood, clay feel, soil finish. Pure, mixed fruit and fine tannins. Just delicious now and impressive quality at the lower end of the range.

Given 3 hours of air. Deep red. Pretty burly. Ripe earthy cherry. More Morey than Chambolle tonight.

2 hour decant.....with the right food it was OK. Will revisit in a few years to see if it can stand on its own. Tannins still very much upfront.

Delightful violet scented treat that went very nicely with some pan seared duck breast

Almost hate to post a review and let on. Way underappreciated. Dark and sweet. Great buy!

Deep color. Ripe red fruit and soil. Quite tannic with ground coffee. More closed than I remember.
