First out of a case of six that I really enjoy. Nice nose, good typical Pessac taste, longish finish with some grainy tannins at the end. This was supposed to be on the way out, but I consider the wine to be on the way in. Two last bottles to go. I look forward to them, but am not in a hurry to finish them.

Accessible nose with aromas of black fruit, blueberries, cassis, black chocolate, no tertiarty aromas yet. Great to drink, good acidity and already soft tannins. Not very complex but straight forward and fun to drink. 91+

Crushed cool red berries. Just a hint of leafy notes. Smooth and even on the palate. More balance than the 2015. Overall well resolved and drinking well now. 91-92pts

08112023 - popped this on cool Wednesday night over a Netflix movie. Poured two glasses and let it sit for 30 mins. Remaining portion, left it to breathe in the bottle. Initially, firm & tight but wine started to evolve from the glass after 30mins. Nose: Dark fruit, cherry, cassis, purple flowers, accompanied with fresh tobacco and hint of graphite. Palate: medium acidity with polished tannins. Mouthfeel: supple & well balanced. Great density and medium length finish

Color: Deep ruby. Nose: Dark fruit, a hint of herbs. Mouth: Full bodied. Still fresh and noticeable tannins. Red currents. Excellent expressiveness and length. To drink in the next 4 to 6 years.

Nice mature ruby red colour. Decently complex nose, still a bit shy. A bit of smoke/creosote and some red fruit. Fresh slightly tannic attack, mainly red fruit. Medium-weight taste, not very complex but OK. Shortish finish. Contrary to 2 previous bottles, I think this has stil some positive developpement to offer in the next 2-3 years.

Def feel the merlot here. I think I prefer the Cab dominant varietal better than this one! It's got a tinge of green pepper, subtle non distinguishable dark fruits. Looks pretty in the glass, and it is well made. Just a preference thing for me.

Dark fruit, coffee bean, soft, polished textures and a dark, sweet, open, medium bodied, dark cherry finish that feels great, and should be easy to drink. The wine was made from a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot.
