Today, this wine tastes a little "pruney" to me and lacks acidity and focus. I would have guessed southern Rhone .Lacks Pinot Noir character. Perhaps I've just had too many good wines.

See prior note from 11/22......let this bottle air for 3 hours and it had a more velvety body plus a spicier flavor than the last bottle. Very good. In its drinking window for sure.

Holding on it's plane of maturity, this wine will be good for several more years. Good fruit and acidity, with just the right amount of tannic bite left to provide focus. Just a little "green". Long finish. Addendum: On day three, this rates a 93!

So beautiful and complete with about a 2 hour decant. Lovely fruit and gentle earthy notes. Such an expression of the place the grapes were grown. Perfect with chicken.
After a few days it’s still very persistent with very generous giving character. Really nice nice!

Light bodied, no sediment, youthful in appearance, decanted 2 hours before Thanksgiving dinner. Wine still a bit closed and acidic at first but softened and developed a decent mid-pallet with nice fruit showing after a while. Overall a good example of the AC, can hold another year or two IMO.

A shining crimson red colour with intense, perfumed notes of Griotte cherry, Doria plum and pressed red flowers. Youthful and smooth textured the entry, the wine is alive with softened Doria plum and cherry flesh and penetrated by a lively acidity that keeps the wine alive and fresh. Super juicy in the mid-palate, there are savoury and spicy edges and sandy tannins that gently caress the front gums, give a gentle frame to the wine, and hold the wealth of fruit. Still holding nicely and for the next 2-3 years? A highly drinkable wine that is showing nicely with some complexity.

light purple red in colour, the nose starts savoury with lifted aromas before revealing green apple, sour cherry and rhubarb. The entry is medium bodied with lighter intensity. There is good focus, clean lines and narrow tannins alongside a brisk acidity, dry but with a slight sweetness. The texture is sandy, and there is a slightly earthy cardboard note (cork?) that runs alongside apple pip crunchy red apple and some confected notes. The shape is fine-boned almost anorexic yet there seems to retain some juicy fruit. A spicy-edge finish - again is there some cork?

Mid crimson with perfumed aromas of rose petals, Mineral, Bing cherry, strawberry and dried leaves (quite Barolo-like). There are also some Sous Bois elements adding intrigue and some tilled soil and thick pile carpet! A light to medium-bodied entry with soft strawberry coulis balanced with a crisp, almost tart acidity and a juicy mid-palate. A pretty, delicately framed wine, the flavours are cerise and cherry refreshers towards cherry cola all with this twist of sour acidity. Complex, bright and poised, this lovely wine has vibrancy and feels thirst-quenching. A touch of spice, squishing cherries on the back palate towards a long, rewarding finish. Charming!

Very fruit forward and very drinkable at this young age. Good fruity nose. Well balanced and complex, displaying intesting earthy notes in appropriate moderation. Good acidity and a pleasing long finish.

Fragrant Pinot Noir nose.. Fruit forward, but palate is dominated by stemmy tannins. Finishes a little hot, Decent pinot noir from the excellent 2015 vintage in Burgundy. Addendum: Six days later, this wine remains fresh after storage at 60 degrees F. Indeed it's worth a point or two more.

Terroir-istes International - France, Burgundy, Auxy, Beaune, Savigny, Corton (Bishopscourt): (Tasted Blind): A light-mid ruby colour with a lifted, gently perfumed nose of blossom, red plum and cherry. Youthful, the entry is juice red fruits, excellent precision, concentration, lively acidity and light chalky tannins, giving some frame to the core of fairly rich fleshy flavours. The wine is fairly fine-grained in texture with vibrancy and some length. Despite the amount of flesh, the tannins support it nicelt. Pure and rather modern, it appealed greatly. Perhaps for immediate drinking rather than laying down.

Opened 2 hours before and decanted 1 hour before drinking with a lamb dish. Thin and acidic on opening, but settled down and fleshed out nicely within those 2 hours. Then it is classic burgundy - nice fruits, acidity and tannin, in balance and pairing well with the food without intruding. It's elegant and nicely done, but no wow factor. OK, but not great QPR at US$35.

Very enjoyable now, perhaps with some ageing and improvement still to do. Best after about 4 hours opened.

Fruit and spice. That’s got everything on the nose. Beautifully cranberry and strawberry on the palate too. Very fine. Now what is the price.
