My one bottle, cellared since 2019. Well worth the wait. Smooth and delicious, drinking superbly now. I'd guess this vintage has a few great years left.

Notes as previous bottles, decent enough to drink , rather simple decent fruit but little else, you can do better for your money, would not buy again, last bottle.

Ruby port like colour, plummy spicy on the nosedecent mouth filling plummy with a little to much acidity for me and spices again, decent length but little to commend this, can buy better at this price, nothing complicated here just a decent drink , purchased at discount and still not VFM.

The very classy Art Deco label belies the very modern, sleek, and somewhat soulless wine within. It’s technically perfect with ripe, juicy Grenache and mild tannins and acidity. Good to drink right now.

Après 2 h en carafe, le vin s'est ouvert et c'était délicieux. Bonne longueur, acidité assez présente, tanins moyens, et pas mal de fruits! Somme toute complexe et léger pour un C9P. Curieux de revoir dans 5 ans.

Interesting amalgam of richness, typical of CdP, and restraint. Compact, sleek lines, sexy! Appealing in all regards. It needs time to breathe, several hours. Three to five years in the cellar will serve it well. 92-93.

Two hour decant and one hour slow ox. Deep ruby magenta color. Fig, plum, vanilla bean and subtle butterscotch on the rich nose. Smooth, tongue drying palate with good acidity. Round tannins on the medium+ finish. The finish simply didn’t live up to the nose.

2 oz pour at a bar, in a glencairn, bottle was about 1/3 full. Very nice nose of flowers, red and blue fruit, stone, fresh herb/garrigue, plenty of young tannin. Palate has stone, grass, flowers, fresh red berries, good but not overpowering tannin. Pretty accessible for young CdP. Really good. 8.5/10

The 2015 Clos de L’Oratoire des Papes opens to vivid aromas cherries and raspberries which are woven together with fresh wild herbs, lavendar and wet stones. Medium bodied and well balanced with a lovely velvety texture that is driven by core of juicy red fruits that lead to a long, spicy finish. While offering some early appeal this will need at least another few years in the cellar before it hit its stride. (Best 2020-2030)

Closed on the nose - brooding with a touch of herbal lift. On swirling, liquorice-inflected dark fruits. Spice. Merest hint of tapenade; good density but the style does not err towards being too heavy. Lovely core of quality fruit. Some tannins creep in on the finish. Lovely style, very accessible. Vintage quality comes through.

young wine that does not show its future yet. decanted several times, kept in fridge for 3 days, tried again at 17 Celsius. the wine didn't change at all ! I had the 2003, it needed 5 years to be ready - by 2012, it was almost overdone. but good quality. the rating includes the hope of a nicely drinkable wine in about 3-5 years.

Medium bodied, forward, spicy and smoky, with a stony note before the red berries kick in, the wine is fresh, light, clean and fresh with a sweetness to the soft textured, cherries and kirsch. The wine was made blending 80% Grenache, 8% Syrah, 7% Mourvedre and 5% Cinsault,.

Nose pronounced with complex black fruits, hint of black pepper and dried hay.
Very soft tannins and full on the palate.

Lots of cherry. Solid, easy drinking CDP. I may agree with other reviewers that it is lacking complexity or oomph at this age but still good!

Not a bad Chateauneuf-du-Pape but not an outstanding example. Likely going to get better over next 2 or 3 years. Not sure about "value for $"

A year on another bottle, probably as integrated as it will get, pleasant rather commercial and still not much of a finish, and still not VFM.

Blåröd med dragning åt brunt.
Djup och varm doft med mörka bär, sandelträ och kaffe.
Stram, pepprig, lite eldig men med bra längd. Läcker eftersmak.
