In a perfect spot. Light red color. Soft end gentle notes of red strawberry fruit and emerging sous bois notes. Relaxed and silky in the mouth, good balance and harmony. Thank you Brian. Wednesday night chez CP.

During a year end wine dinner. Tasted blind. Cloudy color, lots of stemmy and green notes with game and sour cherry, Dujac style. While it was green I did not find it too green or sour, just right with food. Very good complexity. Arlot Suchots is one of the best premier Crus in the 125$ category.

Lys og noe mursteinsrød på farge. Vektløs og elegant i munnen. God frukt. God lengde. Tipper den er en god del utviklet nå. Merket ikke noe til 2004s grønne rykte. 460 kr for 6 år siden.

Started out on the watery side but gained weight and fruit as it opened up. Little green of the vintage and really pure Vosne pinot fruit. Definitely has a good bit of life left. Wish I had more....

I enjoyed this wine, better than most 2004's I've had. Light/Medium red color, but fuller medium+ bodied wine. Rasperries with nice acidity, super mouthfeel. Drink over the next 3 years...AM

Going through some of the 2004s that I have. Ah, ladybugs. Irony was that I have a few flying around the house for some reason. Very appropriate. Nice red color, soft red fruit and spice on the nose. Tastes of some red fruits, a touch of integrated wood, and some greenness. Good mouthfeel, enjoyable for what it is, tannins are soft without dryness. Ladybugs.
En deilig flaske vin som passet utrolig godt til indrefilet av kalv. Massevis av røde bær, krydder og masse mer som jeg ikke får satt ord på. En lett og myk vin med utrolig mye aroma og smak. Har heldigvis to flasker til...

There is no way to get around the watery greenness of this wine. With that said, the green was not a bell pepper or vegetative, but a very complex and hard to describe greenness, that to me says," sure, the vintage was green, but I was not that affective by it!" The wine was very mature for its age and I would not call it particularly 5 year old Vosne or Suchots, but it was altogether very good. The maturity was shocking, but the wine was sweet, decadent, and mellow, and with a clear red color, and an hour without a cork, the wine became very good. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Spicey, stemmy, and full of red fruit, if a little demure on the nose. Raspberries, strawberries, cherries, cardamom, mace, vanilla and baking spice. Moderate oak, a little reduction, and a lot of sappy, earthy, brooding aromas underneath.
On the palate, this was the lightest, most elegant of the 9 wines tasted. But there was pleanty of depth, along with gorgeous raspberry and strawberry fruit. There are lots of sweet and savory spices, a pleasant kiss of oak, a great nervy acidity, and a really long, sweet finish. Is there a lot of earth? I reserve judgement for 10 years.

Nydelig følge til kyllingbryst fra Stange. Virker for meg som en moden vin, men har nok noen år til på seg.
