90-91pts. Definitely not as expressive as Dönnhoff's Grauburgunder -S-, which is the better wine for the same price. Notes of plum, fig, lime, and some grapefuit. Spicy and mineral, but neither long nor really complex. For $18 it is just OK.

Wow!!!! Tout est là, excellent. Poire et coing. Texture juste assez grasse et longue en bouche. Aucun default apparent. Seul bémol c’est que 750ml ce n’est pas assez!! On en aurait pris une deuxième .

Blind tasting dinner. This was much richer than the Chile Chardonnay it followed. Not oily but a riper fruit profile with apples and so on. Also clearly more oak here. I thought this could be a Meursault 1er Cru. Very nice. Would give this another 2 years and hopefully the oak will integrate a touch.

Tasted blind. This was relatively light with fruity and floral elements. Some guessed Chardonnay, some Sauvignon Blanc. I recently had the 2009 which showed spectactularly, like a Meursault Perrieres, this was was much simpler. Maybe it is the vintage, may be age, who knows. 89+

Tasted after the basic 2016 Weißburgunder. Round, generous, and little more layered and serious. Plenty of fruit, good structure, fresh and vibrant. Very good. 91-92+

Muted nose of yellow fruits, particularly unripe pineapple. Initial opulent and smooth mouthfeel, big. Then unfortunately a bit sharp on the edges. Aftertaste is very long! For me, all the elements are not well integrated (yet). Will touch the next bottle only in 2+ years. Wine has upside from there!

Very austere, flavours of blossom, apple and nutmeg, reminds me of some flavours of champagne Very long! But lacking complexity (which I doubt will come with some aging)
