Dinner in a rainstorm - planned to grill flank steak, sausage and a little chicken - and have John and Linda over. Got the grill going - very wet - and got it all cooked - only to find out they had a water problem from all the rain. So Linda came over and got us - and we took the dinner to them - worked just fine. Enjoyed the Clayhouse before dinner with raw veggies and Jill's sundried tomato hummus. John served an Arrowood Cab with the mixed grill. Nice dinner - all things considered.

At home Sunday night with steaks from the grill. Nice match, but wine could use some more bottle age - so will hold the last bottle for a while longer.

Good grippy tannins followed by good fruit. Again taste like a little more rounded out Justin Isoceles.Decanted for an hour.Very smooth and delicous. A very nice wine especially if you can find it for under$30. I like the mouthfeel and fruit.90-91pts

This reminds me of the Justin Isoceles but not as intense . Sweet, rich and aromatic Paso Robles fruit with good tannins offsetting it . This is a very good wine. Excellent fruit and suprisingly good structure but well balanced. I'll buy some more.

Friday night - Jill and Dan picked me up at the train and we went to WL for bread, cheese and wine. Picked this up after a recommendation on the Web site. Drank it "versus" the Spencer Roloson Palaterra 2003. Much more serious. Very nice, finished half the bottle (pumped it) and it was better on Saturday night after some overnight air. Might buy some more.

very nice stuff. the licorice is prevalent and gives it a warm taste. Velvety tannins have all but melted away. drink up

Fruit bomb, but silky smooth on the palate. Very easy drinking and went well with our steak dinner. Drink up now!
