Good wine, but still lots of tannins. Needs more time (~5 years). Nose had pencil shavings and some licorice. Main body was fruit with strong tannins. Wait.

Served at room temp on a warm day by the winery, so this definitely didn't show as well as it could have. Dark, brooding, higher in alcohol. Well made, but not that great, given the conditions.

BEst cab I had this year in 2022. Just a fantastic bottle. Has many more years to come too. Tannins are still there, and will be there for the next few years!!! Cheers

Dark ruby. Fragrant complex aromas of blackcurrant, chocolate, roses, with an ineffable touch of spicy oak. Palate soaking spread of dense dark fruit on the palate, penetrating tannins on a crackling layer of acid, moving into long sweet tannic finish. 14% alcohol.

Napa 2023: the quieter version; 2/6/2023-2/11/2023 (Napa/Sonoma California): Even more classic styling than the 2017. I get more of the mint/eucalyptus here. A hint of floral. Black fruits. Generally all very soft. Tannin barely there. Very pretty wine.

NY Wine Experience 2022; 10/20/2022-10/23/2022 (Marriott Marquis): Just a beautiful wine even if it is quite young. Lovely eucalyptus, darker fruits, great balance. Hints of vanilla bean. It drinks well and is honestly just tasty.
