Apparently I love Chenin Blanc. For $20 buy lots. How many tired chardonnays and sau blancs do you suffer through because that's all anyone ever brings to your house because they heard your a wine guy? Bring Chenin Blanc. Start the revolution

Sour funk with lemon and sour pineapple perfumes. Insane acidity with riper flavors on the palette - lemon curd and tropical (guava notes). Some honeyed accents along the edges. Chenin characteristics intact.

Unfortunately corked, but mild enough to discern wine underneath. Perfumed potpourri, pear drop, melon, and citrus. A pinch of RS has the counterpoint of acid, and the flavor complexity and cohesion is solid. A first Jasniere for me, and I'm curious to taste more.

Super interesting nose. Countryside is what comes to mind. faint cinnamon, apple sticks. I like the acid, so does Bill. Bill notes it doesnt' have the wild tertiary of past vintages, yet it was just open. Super long finish. Clean. Need a whole bottle to examine.

At first taste seems a little flat. Not as robust as previously.
