This was fantastic right out of the gate. Forward aromas and flavors of zippy red currant and raspberry with a touch of patchouli in there somewhere...perhaps earthiness instead. Regardless, this didn't need a decant to show well, and I wouldn't hesitate to drink now. Ageing will bring the fruit down a bit so, if that's what one is looking for, I'm sure it'll age well. It's fantastic now, though.

Decanted for an hour. One of the better OR pinots that I've tried. Lighter color and body with good balance of bright acid and berry fruit. Longer finish.

Four Siduri Pinots: Crisp, chilled red berries on the nose (raspberry, strawberry) along with rhubarb, rose petals, mushrooms, spiced herbal tea — lovely to sniff. On the palate, tangy acidity and structured but easy-going tannins, and the red currant, red apple peel and raspberry fruit is tart but juicy. Complex elements of rhubarb, black pepper, dusty earth. Savory but bright, vibrant but textured and complex. 15 months in 30% new French oak.
