A tad big for a merlot but given it is from the very hot 2015 vintage, understandable. Medium plus intensity red cherry with some chocolate and maybe a bit of coconut. Nicely balanced with a medium plus finish for a justifiable very good rating to outstanding rating.

Drank from Bin south 15, from birthday trip October 2019. $35 Can. Dinner with Mike and Livia. Light mineral nose. Dark purple. Full soft even body some middle tannins and hint of blackberry. Great wine. 9/10.

Developing nose. Savoury tannic layer coated with drying, curing red & black fruits. Nice energy on the mid-palate and a medium plus finish. Could stand up to many ‘15 St Emilion.

Fantastic rich deep nose, deep dark fruit, wet cedar, and smoked meat. Menthol notes through the mid-palette with fine peppery tannins. Balanced acidity with a nice dry puckering finish. It could sit longer I suppose, but I like the hint of edge. This is self-isolation drinking at its finest.. I miss hosting...
For a 'mid-week sipper', this is some terrific juice! I mean, it has some serious depth, even at this young age.
Powerful & intense nose of stewed blackberry & plums - it has been intensely oaked (French?) as the vanilla wafts from the glass. Two hours in, and you now have coffee notes developing.
On the palate, robust ripe, blackberry-jam & cherry-like fruit are supported by notes of vanilla, licorice, tobacco & cedar - this will only get better each year.
It is built for the long-haul - so bury it in your cellar. This is no mid-week sipper, my friend.

Funky nose on opening, quite backward. Nose transformed about 30 minutes post-opening, dark fruit dominated. Grippy tannins, quite thick and velvety, dark plum core. Very well made and enjoyable.

Ripe black plums with aromas of mocha and dark chocolate and baking spices. Earthy notes on the palate, fine tannins and fresh acidity. Drink after 2021.
