Ripe, tropical wine, lemon, kiwi notes along with floral and pineapple tones. There is a hint of mineral in the mid, though the wine is a bit soft and could use more brightness. Exotic version of Riesling, especially for the Finger Lakes.

Very pale yellow color with a tart apple bouquet and flavor with no telltale petrol, so typical of the grape, in evidence. Good balance with nice acidity and a hint of sweetness. Very pleasant and easy to drink. The second of four Sheldrake Point Rieslings drunk at the winery at the very edge of Lake Cayuga in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York.
