Onto its tertiary phase, and about ready to bomb-out... probably within the year. Nice fruit for what remains, but without the tannic tension this has become rather one-dimensional. Easily quaffable. Drink now.

Very good! This is a no no sense rhone blend with some beautiful fruit and soft on the palate. This is not a big bombastic red blend. More refined and went beauftip with sushi.

2nd of 2 bottles from recent auction purchase. Thankfully, this 2nd bottle was in much better shape than the last bottle. Showed very savory and almost what I would describe as briny character. Interesting, but I found myself turned off by the second glass and just didn't enjoy it very much at this point. Stayed about the same by the end of the evening a few hours after opening. If scoring, 81 - 83, but may have been a faulty bottle based on my experience with the 1st bottle from this lot + my experience with a store-bought bottle consumed a couple of years ago.

Most of the other notes describe this wine pretty well. It's meaty and savory, a little musky, with bold fruit notes as well. Intensely flavored -- almost too much so -- I'd prefer to let this settle down for a couple of years. Not sure how WineX can sell this so cheaply ($20)... Tasted over 2 days - I thought it tasted consistent throughout.

Cherry pie filling and vanilla on the nose. Pie crust as well. Pretty much same on the palate, with cardamom, white pepper, and lightly burnt brisket ends. 90-91

A ruby-colored wine, a rich musky nose of roasted meats and cedar spice over black berry fruit, a dense concentrated mouthful of black raspberry, which lingers nicely with delicate anise spices on the finish. Tannins are very fine but provide ample structure. Nice and distinctive wine.

A friend and I tasted this at the Seattle tasting room on 8/11/18. It had a rich, fragrant, perfumed bouquet of cherry, anise, toast, tobacco pepper and spice aromas. The palate was rich and balanced with flavors of black cherry, toast, licorice, pepper and spice.

Very CdP-like. Red berry and cherry flavors, not too sweet. Finish is a bit constrained, otherwise it would rate higher.

Slightly softer than the last btl, I’d say drink up.
Still very enjoyable.

This bottle was extremely savory and offensively tart. May have been cooked.

Decant for 1-hour, absolutely fantastic drink window. Red fruits and nice veggetal notes. Long, silky finish. Excellent QPR!

A savory wine that is bursting with plush red fruit. Soft in the mouth with very refined tannins. Almost too easy to drink, really nice.

Pretty consistent again, a meaty and savory wine that’s also got rich sweet berry fruit with cocoa notes. Delicious.
