Tasted at The Wine Society's Champagne tasting, held in Guildford, UK. Colour is light/medium gold with a hint of yellow. The nose is great, showing nuttiness, lemons biscuity, rich and toasty. In the mouth it's big and full, with a long finish. Overall, a complex wine and continues to develop the toastiness in the glass. I noted that the acidity levels were just a little high for my palate, but that's not a criticism.

2018 K&L Annual Champagne Event (K&L San Francisco Store): K&L Champagne Event 2018, nose of brioche, smoke, slate, and roasted hazelnuts, same on the palate, medium/big body, at peak, mouth filling, rich, very tasty, unusual in a good way, medium/long finish hurt score, worth $77 to try.
