A different kind of animal...not your mama's rose. A rich and darker rose color with a fragrant floral nose backed by pungent and sharp fruit, the promise of which is delivered thru a substance of flavor that is very firm for a rose, with a dry finish and a distinctive personality. I would drink more rose if they were all like this.

Chris and Brig's 2010 Wine Party; 6/19/2010-6/21/2010 (Our House): disclaimer: I'm inexperienced with Rose. fairly dark colored for a rose, almost like a very old bordeaux.
n: light fruit scents
p: very smooth mouthfeel, almost glycerin like
f: med/light finish
Quite refreshing

A very nice Rosé. Bright and lively even after a couple of years in the cellar. Interesting red fruit flavours and smooth texture.

Mmmm. Very nice. A slight bite to it, but a bit less sweet (and more sophisticated) than the average Rose.
