An outstanding Condrieu from a cool vintage and this wine really cannot express it any better.
Lovely bouquet that has full of apricot/citrus fruits, tons of white flowers and the usual salinity. Wonderful tension on the body that gets resolved with lovely acidity, so fresh (for a Condrieu). So well balanced with power and grace. Long finish with grace rather than brute force.
Drink now to 2030+. Fantastic.

First bottle of this. Chalky, vertical, clean, accents in the minerals, the exotic fruit and Condrieu-character is behind; too young. AD much prefered this to the 2015. On day two, this is quite evolved, much richer - could suggest drinking earlier, rather than later. 91++ #Kandestederne

Strong nose of lemon with a hint of cat urine. Flavors were a bit different from most viogniers that I've had. Lighter and crisper than I'm used to, with lemon and honeysuckle and a bit of melon. Decent, but I'd prefer a bit more body.

Started to resemble a condrieu after 2-3 hours airing. Better the next day, but not very intense. In other words: Way to young. Will wait at least five years for second bottle. Very difficult to assess where it could end up at this stage.

First bottle from Perret. Very impressed. Super floral with pear and orange blossom, honeysuckle, and stone fruit. You almost don’t want to take a sip it smells so good. The palate however disabuses you of the not wanting to sip! Balanced and fresh with lovely depth and a long finish. The delivery of depth without weight is excellent. Definite rebuy

By the glass. Well, being so young, quite round and ready to be drunk right now. Notes of anise, tubers, limestone ore and dry Provencal herbs. On the palate it has density and a good grip. Well balanced by a sharp but at the same time sweet acidity which gives it structure and length. Overall a nice Condrieu.
Agradable Condrieu.

Light yellow. Nose is rich, floral and mineral with notes of peaches, apricots, acacia, violets and a touch of nutmeg. Mouthfeel is rich, round, full bodied, elegant, mineral, with moderate acidity and notes of peaches, fresh apricots, acacia, a little violets and a touch of nutmeg. Has good length. Very young now, but a smashing Condrieu!

Decanted for two hours. Slightly reductive at opening, but very pleasing nose. After two hours this shows flowers, white peach, some oak. Med + intensity. Full bodied, but with a salty, firm, concentrated finish. Ripe fruit, but very restrained still. Carries the alcohol (14%) very well. A great Condrieu for the cellar.
Update: A couple of glasses left in the bottle and forgotten for a week in the fridge. Kept amazingly well, imo a sign of great quality.

Flott aromabilde her. Middels fyldig vin som mangler litt i anslaget. Vokser dog pent med slankere til. Nektar, blomster og lett salthet. Mange vil like denne, den blir aldri for grov til være fra Condrieu. 91 poeng.

Tight nose. Bitter peach taste. Seemed much more closed than the entry level Condrieu and the Clos Chanson. Andre explained at the tasting this was more for the long haul and I would tend to agree as it just wasn't showing very well at this stage.

Took a bit to reveal what it’s got, but holy moly, what a gorgeous bottle. Exoticism with a framing minerality. Gorgeous bottle.

Excellent Condrieu all flowers and apricots but good acidity to balance the rich palate. Less showy than Vernay but just as fine.

Not rating this bottle as it was pleasant but flat and no life. Or still in its sleeping mode!

My favourite Condrieu. Consistently excellent ad enjoyable. Definitely improved by bottle age and this is a point.

Fresh, aromatic, minerally viognier with a bit more unctuousness than some. Crowd pleaser (at least at my place :))
