Exquisite right now. Double decant 1st night and then 45 min. I actually paired this with a grass fed Denver chuck steak and it worked well. Add a fresh garden salad from my garden and this was a great meal paired well with a gentle earthy tone Pinot Noir with just enough dark berry to go with the meat. Day 2 was pesto chicken pasta w same salad and it worked! Even deeper berry w that very characteristic light body Pinot Noir finish. I wish I had more of these. Drink up no need to cellar any longer.

What a treat. Vibrant acidity lends energetic precision to earthy and herbal notes of blackberries, raspberries, and bright spices. This is so structured and polished, with a beautiful mouthfeel, excellent depth, and savory persistence. Delicious.

Excellent Pinot, very juicy, with notes of cherry, blueberry, raspberry, and not too much oak. Very pleasant to drink, quite complex and smooth. The first Pinot after I started learning about wines, and it certainly made me want to explore more!

Black cherries, pop rocks (seriously?), pomegranate, some dust. Black licorice, blackberries, and hints of thyme on the finish. Very balanced. Incredibly good QPR.

Simple, tasty Russian River Valley. What else need be said? Poured a glass of this post Thanksgiving after a really pricy bottle of Pinot. This gem held its own. Beautiful nose of strawberries and a taste to match. Not particularly complex. Just satisfying!!

Great QPR at $33. Nice Russian River PN devoid of the complexities of their Single Vineyard Pinot’s But well worth the price. Classic RR PN structure and taste.

Wonderful opening nose: cinnamon, coconut, strawberry jam and raspberry ! Tastes of plum, cherry and strawberry. Medium bodied with a satin-like texture. This Pinot surprised me in a good way

Such a classy Pinot, with raspberry, huckleberry, red clay, clove and tamari. A medium body, with such a staying power. Bright acidity, yet the depth remains, with an unfolding palate. The finish is medium in length. Quite ready and I have never experienced a vintage for this bottling that would deserve less than 90 points. Drink now - 2027.

Tasty juice! Medium ruby. Black cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry with rose petal, dried leafs, all spice, clove and dried herbs plus some gun smoke overtones. Medium- tannin and medium acid with a round mouth feel accented by quite a bit of juicy fruit. Medium+ complexity and medium finish. This is a nice blend of cool climate and hot climate Pinot, having both ripeness of fruit with elegance and acid structure.

A great pinot for $30 at Costco. I’ve had the Dutton ranch for the last several vintage and it’s always good and always a steal

Old Timers Lunch at Alexander Valley Vineyards (Alexander Valley Vineyards): Great RRV Pinot, the bottle was empty before once around the table, no seconds, pity. This had ample intensity and an orchestra of flavors. Really wanted a second glass to linger over.
