This is in the house style - stemmy, lifted and peppery - and like a lot of the domaines wines needs lots of air before it’s potential is realized. Asian tea and spices, latte-like notes, fruit a bit muted, long and fulfilling finish. It’s young and probably 5 years from its prime window, but still delicious. Blind I’m not sure I’d place this as vosne, but the spice and complexity build with time. 91-94

Pure dark red fruit and stemmy in the best possible way - lots of herbal/tea-like notes and a menthol feel in the throat. Fine tannins but well structured. This is fairly dense and highly enjoyable.

N: RIPELY *gorgeous*, nothing out of place; TOUGH to parse, but with a DEFINITE earthy note; Intensity lurking!
P: LM body; Very NICE, almost swtish frt met by some astringent pucker which never loses touch with the frt as it evolves into a LONG, balanced finish with a tangy/SWTNESS to the very, VERY fine tannins. NEEDS through '20, probably '21, then EASILY making its 10th. My EXC/EXC+, the higher a fairly certain bet down the line. 93-95 pts WA, 91-93 Burghound, 90-92 Vinous (Tanzer), & 16++/20 Jancis Robinson.

The florets was way more ready at this stage but there is a elegance and class in the suchots. Just a level more refinement and structure

Tasted after Clos des Forets St George. Less lifted, darker fruit, a little stemmy, spicy, more mineral and brooding. Fine length. 92-93+
