Had this back in Jan. 2022. It is still holding up very well. Still has bright fruit aroma. Has a smooth mouth feel and paired well with steak and salmon. Delicious.

Corked. I am pretty sensitive to it. I cannot judge the wine due to this. Also concerning was the condition of the cork which was wine streaked 3/4 of the way through the cork. I have bought bottles of wine 10 years older than this from the same store with corks in pristine condition from other wineries.

disappointing. very slightly corked, which I think is a relevant statistic since it presumably originated somewhere in production or storage. the effect was so slight that we still drank it (no one else noticed it). Beyond the effect of that slight corked taste however, it also was harmed for me by the acidic taste, and the highly alcoholic content (14.1% on the label). I will not buy this again. The Terroir series is for me much better value, if slightly lower in refinement. I will buy that again.
edit: from my subsequent reading, corked wine can suffer some harm to the taste other than the corked taste itself, so it may be that the other negative qualities i noticed would be absent in an uncorked example. i however do not care to find out. my experience with corked bottles is that buying more of the same label (at the same store) always results in more corked bottles.

Very interesting wine, very complex minerality, chorused rock, dried fruits. Its medium bond wine with a fairly long finish. Will for sure get some more to try and 3-4 years from now.

We did a side by side tasting of the 2012 Revana and the 2016 Revana because it just seemed like a good way (excuse) to open and enjoy 2 bottles of tasty Pinot Noir.
The 2012 is still drinking well but does not have the intensity it use to have especially compared to the younger vintage of the same wine. The nose is still bright with red cherry and some pomegranate with hints of oak. The palate is a tad out of balance as I found the acids a little higher but not enough to damped the enjoyment factor.
The 2016 is very bright with a more forceful nose of red fruits, slight spice box and hints of cranberry. Medium body plus with mouth coating red fruits that were fairly balanced. The 2016 needs a year or two to develop into a more rounded Pinot and I am sure this will get there.
Both wines are enjoyable alone or with food. I would drink up the 2012 and let the 2016 chill for another year.

A really nice Pinot that is worthy of time and the WS rating.
A nose of bright yet warm cherry, cranberry and earthy aroma's. The palate is well balanced with bright red fruits and the signature earthy elements of the WV.
Drinking very well and should deliver more with patience.

Very pleasant nose of cherries. Delicious fruit forward followed with pepper and mild spice. A light Pinot that went well with beef.

Not a typical Oregon Pinot. Slightly less ripe style, on edge if underripe.
Fresh, lifted, well balanced. Aromas of ripe and concentrated red fruits, baking spices, cranberry, some florality. Nice oak treatment.
Where it is distinctive, however, is on the palate: elegant style, balanced. Softer tannins. An extremely long finish.
Can age a further 5 years, but ready to drink now.

Still young, but up to the WS rating. Might let my other bottle sit for a while, as I sense it will get better.
