Dark as ever with no signs of age. N: Ripe dark fruit and a whiff of glycerin. P: A load of dark fruit and sugar, with a mouth filling texture, but minimal complexity. F: A bit sweet and fruity with medium lenghth. Decent, but not for the money. I tasted this blind and guessed under $20.

Lots of dark fruit- plum, blackberry, blueberry, with floral notes of violet. Enough acidity to support the fruit but the main star of the show is the tannin: drink with food.

Decanted three hours in advance. Big dark raspberry nose, followed by deep cassis notes on the palate. The 15% thankfully isn’t felt. Finish is a bit abrupt, but this is a delicious wine, and one that my guests enjoyed greatly. I’m more of an old-world guy, but found this surprisingly good.

A new world wine that has old world characteristics. It was an enjoyable bottle. 15% alcohol is high, but it was pretty well balanced and integrated so it was not very apparent on the palate. October Gary Vee club.

Nice notes of plum and black cherry. A little too much vanilla and oak for me, but not a total bomb, there are some tannins and acid to balance. A nice weekday wine with food. Drink up.

Medium to full body, red cherry, raspberry, soft acidity, smooth finish. Opened up with air. Drink now or over the next few years.
