wow! Knocked our socks off. Really fine tannins gave some backbone to a beautiful, seamless wine. The nose was full with blackberry and herbal character, the taste was more of the same with some earthy notes added and a long finish. It was drinking superbly right now and I expect it to be just as good (maybe better, if that's possible) over the next 10 or 12 years or so. Even longer is a distinct possibility.

Nose shows vanilla, shortbread, hints of raspberry. Ranier cherries, red and black fruits, leather and chocolate on the palate. Tannins present but muted. Some forest floor notes on the finish. As always, drinking it too young. Hold to 2022/23 and beyond

Beatiful Cab that needs a little while to open. Still u young and will ashe well - but lovely dark fruit notes, a full mouth feel and just the right acidity to pull out all together. I love Leonetti and enjoy every moment with the glass.
Dark fruit is out front with some cocoa, spice and a little bit of forest floor. The tannins are still pronounced which were mitigated once the steak was served.
Way too young at this point, I would wait another 5 years or so to let everything come together.

Decanted for 3-5 hours. Astringent but more than drinkable. Rainer cherry, red currant, new leather, dark chocolate, tobacco, vanilla, and oak. Highly structured with sharp acidity and ripping tannins. Needs 5 plus years but easily the best in Washington in my opinion (always my preference over Quilceda).

One of the better Washington wines I recall. An enormous nose of vanilla and a big hit of oak on the front end. A well structured wine with grace and balance in its finish. Has the subtle leonetti twang on the back of the the palate that I remember on vintages from the ‘90’s. It will reward those who purchase with a tasty experience. Drink now or over next 15 years.

Nose spice, raspberry, vanilla. Flavors of orange, spice, great tannins, lingering oak and strawberry
