beautiful and intriguing, had a different flavor I hadn't tasted before on the pnp -- maybe in the food category but not exactly umami, got more body over the 3 to 4 hours we drank it... nice lift and good med plus body with purple fruit... pleasant

Tight, ripe, and surprisingly powerful upon opening, so I decanted for 1 hour. It exhibits savory red fruit that leads to a gritty tannic structure. The finish is long and dense, and coats your entire palate. All-in-all a nice effort, certainly deserving of time in the cellar... hold for 5+ years.

Big, dark, purple fruits, hints of burnt raisins, and cola. Chewy, and dense.

A Range of 2016 Bruno Clair Wines (Dig Wines, San Francisco): Clear ruby. Has some Savigny brambliness, but subdued. Bigger, more herbal, rougher wine than the Vosne. Chewy, deep, serious. Give it time.

Dégustation au Dom. Bruno Clair (Marsannay-la-Côte): Un vin plus dense, au fruit sombre avec une structure évidente un poil rustique. À attendre un bon moment.
