Dark in the glass, and quite a muted dark fruit aroma (at first pour, at least); but a luscious, earthy, minerally, leathery palate, long in the mouth. For me the best tobacco/leather notes were singing loud and clear.

Quite dark coloured maroon. Fragrant with a slightly atypical nose of dark berries. Feels heavier than what I would have expected. Raspberries and blueberries, slightly tannic on the palate. It was alright, not spectacular.

Dark cherry with sous bois and slightly restrained nose which improved with air. This needs air. Dark colour for a village. Good palate. Balanced acidity with a spicy finish. Less layers than the PC I had couple months ago but this is to be expected. Although this still falls short of my benchmark village 19 Pataille Marsannay. £32 from TWS.

By the glass at restaurant -nearly semi-translucent med red -muted rich ripe creamy pretty pinot faint oak -med acidity, med/med- weight straight forward dark cherry earthy iron, med+ rustic tannins -proper NSG a bit on the rustic side could benefit from a few more years to integrate the tannins

This is a strapping wine for a village burgundy--oodles of colour and structure. However I didn't get a lot of aroma although what was there was in the darker spectrum. Very firm palate. No succulence or elegance here. Maybe time will be kind to this wine.

Floral, lovely mouthfeel, minty/earthy/weedy especially on the exhale. I wish this stuff was cheaper.

Red and dark fruit, leathery and minerally, still pretty fresh, with subdued tannins. Early in its maturity window. Good for the price.
