Probably would have liked this even more in a couple years. A bit brash on day 1. More precise on day 2. Citrus, seashell, touch of green apple and white flowers. Really good for me, just not really great. Drink with decant or hold a bit longer.

A tad richer than I am used to. Aromatics of lemon, green apples and white flowers. Soft palate, with medium acidity and mineral feel. Medium+ length. Opens up a little in the glass. Not my favorite version of Montée de Tonnerre.

I'm no expert in any wine region, certainly no Burgundy expert, but my limited knowledge of vintages would have pegged this as a 2015, a warm vintage. This is surprisingly lush, showing tropical fruits and ripe apple, really round in the mouth, very long, coating finish cut with malic acidity. As the finish closes, a saline note comes in. My guess is that this could surprise with enough acidity and underlying material to age a number of years, despite its rich profile in youth. Had this over a couple of nights, two nights apart and it was really enjoyable through the last pour.

Green apple, pine nuts, parmesan rind on the nose. Biting acidity on the palate with a touch more of a salt and spice note to the finish -- like the skin of a salted almond. Nice length on the finish.

Firing on all cylinders with concentrated fruit and driving juicy acidity. Great rich fruit and savory mineral interplay. Long, taut, complex finish.

Tasted sweet. Residual sugar? Maybe my palate was off, but I did not like this wine. Spat immediately and didn't bother with more notes.
