Had it 2x- once fresh from a bottle, the other on tap. The bottle was fruity, light and not super dry- mild NZ sauv b. On tap was an overwhelming fruit taste and all around too much going on- maybe it sat for too long?

12.5% alcohol; Constellation Imports, Madera, CA; bottled by Constellation Imports, Acampo, CA; screw top; fast legs, crystalline yellow; nose of grapefruit and beyond (apricots, lychee, passion fruit), the pith of fresh sawn pine, alcohol; tasted at ca 12 degrees C, full bodied, sourness predominates to a considerable extent, although fruit and sweetness balance it some some degree; refreshing in the Florida summer heat; pair with cheese, or drink solo

This Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grew on me. Would be refreshing on a hot summer day.
I thought this wines color was more of a golden yellow rather than the traditional pale yellow. My initial thought was that this wine looks like it's gonna be slightly sweet and I was right. This Sauvignon Blanc has 5g of residual sugar and you can tell.
Aromas of tropical fruit, citrus and herbs.
On the palate, this medium(-) bodied wine hits you with a little sweetness followed by the tang you expect from a Sauvignon Blanc. You know, the kind that makes your cheeks pucker. Once your taste buds recover, notes of ripe tropical fruits, lemon, pineapple and fresh cut green bell pepper emerge. Zesty medium(+) finish.

Pale color. NZ Sauvignon Blanc grassy, herbal nose and flavor but slightly sweet and soft — no doubt blended to appeal to the U.S. market. Nobilo is now a part of Constellation Brands, the same group that bought and ruined Robert Mondavi Winery. Where have all the true NZ Sauvignon Blancs gone?

Three Nobilo Wines: Light lemon colored. Bright aromas of lemon pepper seasoning, jalapenos, cut flower stems, along with lemons and green apples. Bright acidity on a light/medium-bodied frame, with lemon crème, green apples, orange peel, topped with cucumber slices, lemongrass and honeysuckle. Always a reliable, tasty introduction to Marlborough Sauv Blanc, and good for the price.

Great - crisp, slight citrus and grass, slightly tart. Tastes much better paired with food than alone.

In BA Lounge Chicago. OK but a bit bland and inoffensive. Had other bigger better Marlborough Sauvignon Blancs.

AKS says this is her type of NZ Sauv Blanc. For the price, I'm happy she likes it.
