Pale Ruby color. Aromas of blackberry, plum, dirt, gravel and black olive. Satin texture, plum and blackberry, earthy, with lovely tartness. Flabby and simple. Not my style.

Lovely. Really nice. Quite light, but some pepper and red fruit. I enjoyed this a lot at at 11.50e a bottle I went back to the store to get all that they had. Which was only two more bottles, alas. A memorable wine. Recommended.

#WineSocial - April - Spain (United Cellars, 100 William Street, Sydney): Fresh red cherry, stony minerality, savoury, almost peppery, spice and the beginnings of a slightly leathery quality. Juicy, red berries and cherries, freshly fruity, tannins are fine and quite silky. Carries long with a little alcohol warmth on the finish. Pleasant enough

Translucent violet in the glass, smells like boysenberries, macerated cherries, dust, underbrush and a chalky note. Fruit forward, nice acidity, a bit of alcohol on the finish but integrates with some air. For whatever reason we don't drink much Spanish wine, but this was nice and a good QPR at $17.

Medium Garnet. Savory, with a nice hit of white pepper. Reminds us somewhat of Etna reds — there is more than a hint of rock & stone, underlying the dry fruit. Quite enjoyable over three nights.

Light, flabby, no nose to speak of. Paid way too much for this disappointment.
