Inviting dark fruit aromas, with plenty of earthy licorice and wood spice nuances. Voluptuous textures and melted tannin are enlivened by a good cut and a rounded, full-bodied character. Nice length on the tasty finish.

This has become our go-to for an easy-drinking blend. Deep ruby in color and on the drier side it has notes of dark fruits and berries like plum. This is higher in alcohol and that definitely came through. We bought for our wedding reception and it was perfect for a variety of palates. We enjoy pulling this out for an everyday drinker.

Really nice easy drinking red. Perfect with lunch. We enjoyed with crackers and Cabot clothbound cheddar from Jasper Hill Farms. Need to buy more...both the cheese and the wine.

We really liked this low end red, a lot more than the community does. Full flavor, a touch of sweetness, a real bargain. Way better than the other $15 reds like Duckhorn Decoy and Smith & Hook we have tried recently. I will buy six more tomorrow.
Dark purple in color. Nose is vanilla, spice and plum notes. Black cherry with vanilla notes. Not harmonious and despite price point, somewhat disappointing vs earlier vintages

A rustic nose of dark fruit and some spice, dark purple in color. A medium to full bodied kitchen sink blend, with blackberry, black cherry, licorice and spice, a very good value. www.winelx.com

Clear, deep garnet with no rim browning. Cigar box, black cherry, chocolate. Low acids, very low tannins. Plastic. Fast, slightly acidic finish.

Still a great value wine. Robust, well-balanced, food-friendly Zin blend that you won’t feel guilty opening with pizza.

It’s lost a little with age. Become a little unidimensional. Was better when younger.

Very fruity and delicious. Not overly acidic and balanced tannins. My favorite way to enjoy a zin is in a lovely blend such as this one.

Stands alone as a pleasant drinking wine. Surprisingly did not pair well with charcuterie, fruit, cheese. A bit of a disappointment in that regard

Blend is different for every vintage. The 2017 is actually 51.5% Petite Sirah, 48.5% Zinfandel.
