That is real nice...from nose to finish. Complexity, yet not as serious as the Mireille, so easier drinking. Both are amazing Rose will keep paying the premium for. A delight to share with family on last of the warm days of 2020.

More minerality than last bottle (notes on 2/12/19). Not quite as compelling as that bottle but still a solid 91 points. Unlike Tempier these Ott rose wines are best fresh and do require any integration time. Drink up.

Nose of lemon, faint savory herbs, faint mesquite, pink grapefruit, rose water. For the palate: Very interesting texture on attack, chalky and basic and seemingly unacidic. Flavors are faint and mineral but persist on the the long finish. This wine finishes with a crescendo of acid. This wine stands out from the rosé pack for is textural interest and long to finish.

My first Domaine Ott Rose (have heard such good things for years). Nose: Very minerally with faint strawberry aromas underneath. Palate: Very elegant with firm acids, somewhat ripe strawberries, watermelon and traces of the minerality. Very balanced yet lengthy finish. Best Cotes de Provence Rose I've had. Just superb.

For me the Ott family of Rose's are truly overall the best rose's. Why? Balance, elegance, freshness, fruit, all in a well balanced wine that is both complex for the serious drinker yet easy for the newbie to understand and enjoy. Sure, I recognize there are many GREAT rose's out there but this one seems to be the most versatile and balanced of them all. Remember, just my personal feelings, doesn't make me right.
This is a really classy rosé. It’s a cut above one of my favourite Provençal rosé wines - Whispering Angel. There is more finesse here. It’s as easy to drink, but the fruit just seems so ripe and clean. For that reason you just want to savour it - even though the temptation is there to knock it back!

This is pretty stunning, yes it is a premium rose but you get what you pay for, and this delivers. Blend of 40% Cinsault, 40% Grenache, 14% Syrah, 6% Cab Sauvignon - elegant evening rose, light raspberries, cooked strawberries, elegant long finish

I took the plunge on a luxury rosé because $40 equivalent retail in Switzerland seemed like a bargain over there. It was. More pale color than I recall this looking like in the past, but I've never experienced a rosé with such drive and persistence on the finish. Like a fine Champagne that way. It was probably as good as a bottle of Clos Cibonne that I particularly liked a few years ago. If you were blindfolded, this Ott probably drinks more like a very fine, minerally high-class white than what you expect from typical rosé. I've had dry Rieslings with redder fruit character. I'd like to taste a vertical of this and see what happens with a few years of age which I'm sure it could handle.

Just enough tension it to make this so much better than the average rosé. So much fun to drink on the patio at sunset.
